Poor defense and lots of fouling. UVa got more aggressive driving and offensive rebounding. The offense tanked. Shepherd and Emery loved shooting 3s. Emery didn't go to the basket til late. Magarity missed several turnaround shots, one of which was way off the mark. Mabrey threw up an under-handed extension from too far out. But the passing led to turnovers when someone tried to drive into the lane to pass. Tentativeness. Someone may see the 3s were open but we lived and died. Mabrey put up a 3 from too far out. Those were the offensive systems. Brooks did not command his plays. We only looked like we knew how to attack UVA's zone on one possession. Then when UVA went back to man, we were still tentative.
